Marion Cotillard put forward for France’s highest honour

The Oscar-winning star was amongst 650 names from the worlds of politics, culture, sport and public life advanced for the Lgion dHonneur

The Oscar-winning star Marion Cotillard was amongst those advanced for the Lgion dHonneur, Frances greatest honour, as the nation commemorated its nationwide day.

She was amongst 650 names from the worlds of politics, culture, sport and public life released in the federal governments main journal for Bastille Day.

Cotillard, 40, was the very first French female considering that 1960 to win the leading United States movie acting reward for her representation of the vocalist dith Piaf in the 2007 film La Vie en Rose, and she was chosen once again in ins 2014 awards for her turn as a lady fighting for her task in Two Days, One Night.
